6W Heath traps and spares

All our traps catch moths alive so that they are ideal for survey work, population counts and collecting fertile females for breeding programmes.

These are portable compact 6W moth traps which run from a 12volt DC supply - either through a 12volt battery with a minimum rating of 12ah or can run from the mains supply with a mains unit (available separately, see below for details).
The traps are highly suitable for beginners where cost is a major factor, and their portability makes them ideal for collecting in remote areas where no electricity or generators are available.
The Heath trap is lightweight and dismantles flat for easy transport.
